Pack of 10 metalized poly film capacitors by Vishay - 100n (0.1uf) 100v (MKT 368). These high quality “Orange Drop” capacitors are an excellent replacement for Sprague or Mullard “Tropical Fish” types when restoring or repairing vintage equipment. Suitable for bypass, decoupling and general use. Ideal for Moog, ARP, Sequential Circuits, Oberheim, EMS and many other vintage machines. Also well suited to guitar and effects pedal circuits.

Pack of 10 standard brightness 3mm red led. Suitable replacement for many vintage machines from Roland, Korg etc. If, like me, you’re not a fan of modern “super bright” leds these are a nice replacement part - very much in-keeping with the original look of late 70s, early 80s gear from Roland, Korg and others.

Replacement toggle switch, 2 position, equivalent to part number SLE-622 18P and suitable for many Roland machines made between 1978 and 1984 including Juno 6, 60 & early 106, Jupiter 8, MC-4, CSQ-100, CSQ-600, MSQ-700 and more. I used these switches in a System J prototype sequencer project and although they have been soldered they have seen very little use and are in excellent condition. They are a good replacement for broken original switches and have the exact same length toggle lever, 17mm. Pcb mount with 6 pins, can also be panel mounted if required. They have a “centre to down” action which is the common type used in most Roland gear. The TR-808 is an exception, the I/F switch is a two way “side to side” type with a slightly shorter 15mm lever - these are generally not available but I have a very limited number in stock here.

*I have received some helpful information from Arata in Japan regarding the use of this “up-down” switch for the I/F function on the TR-808... he reports that it will work in this position with some small modifications to the switch. Contact me for details if you intend to use this switch for the I/F position.

Jupiter 4 and Promars use a different type of switch (four pole) which I currently don’t have available - if I find a suitable replacement I will list them.

New 3 Position toggle switch - suitable replacement part for many vintage machines from Roland, Korg and others that require a dp3t pcb mount switch. Silver lever with black tip, 15mm length, 8 pin pcb mount. These switches are an economic option if you're not too concerned about total originality - slightly shorter lever than original switches but they are mechanically correct for many vintage Roland machines including Juno 6, 60, Jupiter 8, TR-808, CSQ, MSQ, SH-101 and many others. Although they are pcb switches they can also be panel mounted and wired making them useful for other repairs and projects.

Socket can be mounted on the front or rear panel to suit user's requirements. Provides external control of filter cutoff via midi to cv converters or other analogue gear such as sequencers and modulars etc.

I’m generally not a fan of modifying precious vintage gear but adding external filter voltage control opens up a whole range of new sound possibilities.

There are a few ways to accomplish a filter CV input on the SH-09 - this installation is very straightforward, simply routing to the VCF control voltage summing input via the integral resistor, no extra switch required.

Basic soldering and metalworking skills are required so please only attempt this installation if you have the experience to do so.

Allows control of the SH-3A from midi to cv converters or other analogue gear. CV response is standard V/oct and will give good tracking over 5+ octaves assuming that your synth is reasonably well calibrated.
