Checked and serviced, in full working order and sounding great. Cosmetically pretty good, a few small marks, clean battery compartment. Rhythm select knob is not original but a nice replacement. Sound Master Memory Rhythm SR-88 vintage analogue drum machine circa 1982. The SR-88 was hugely popular in the early 80s, one of the first affordable programmable drum machines. Very similar in operation to the Boss DR-55 but with it's own unique sound. Four drum sounds - bass drum, snare, hi-hat and cymbal are programmable in 16 or 12 step sequences. Newport Rhythm Sound - a very rare and funky preset drum machine from the late 70s, made in Japan.  Six rhythms, Beguine, Bossanova, Rock, March, Waltz & Swing. Five analogue drum sounds - Bass drum, snare, clave, hi-hat and cymbal. A very simple machine with just “volume”, “tempo” & rhythm select controls but with lots of vintage character. Audio output and footswitch start on 1/4” jacks. Unit runs from a 9 volt battery. In excellent condition, fully serviced and working great. Can be modified for external triggers but I chose to keep this one in it’s original state as it’s in such nice condition.

Vintage Korg KR-55 Analogue Drum Machine from ‘79/‘80. Fantastic sounding preset rhythm machine used on many classic recordings. Lots of variations and great fill-in patterns. Very distinctive snare. It features a useful trigger output for driving sequencers and arpeggiators and this unit has an external clock input fitted which makes integrating it into modern set-ups possible. Fully serviced and working 100%. Cosmetics are good with minor wear and marks to the fascia and casing.
